The tab defines the design of all report pages except the Cover and blank page after the Cover.

Odd and Even pages

If the checkbox is checked, then 2 sub-tabs with different parameters for even and odd pages become available.

Common for even and odd pages parameters can be changed only on the tab for odd pages. If the checkbox is not checked, then only one sub tab is available for all pages.

Multiline text, HTML text

Using the switch, you can choose to use Multiline text or HTML text for pages.

Multiline text is a simple text, divided into lines. You can specify font, style, size, color and alignment for each block of text.

The coordinates of a block of multi-line text are specified by the distance from the left edge of the page to the base point of the text block horizontally (X) and the distance from the top of the page to the bottom of the first line of text (Y). Coordinates are given in % of the width and height of the cover page.

HTML text uses from font settings only Font (Windows style) and Style. The rest of the font parameters need to be set (and can be changed) inside the block of text with the help of supported HTML tags.

The coordinates of an HTML text block are specified by the distance from the left edge of the page to the left edge of the text block horizontally (X) and the distance from the top of the page to the top of the text block (Y). Coordinates are given in % of the width and height of the cover page.

HTML text allows more flexibility, but is a bit more difficult to use.

See list of supported HTML tags.

Each block of text cannot exceed 250 characters.

Odd, Even or All pages

The tabs contain settings for design of odd, even or all pages (if the checkbox Odd and Even pages are not checked).

The sections on the tabs are drop-down panels.

 Header

If the Auto checkbox is checked, then position of text in the header and footer is selected automatically. Otherwise, you can set the position of text in the X and Y boxes. These coordinates are given in % of width and height of the page.

The origin of the page is at the upper left corner.

In the boxes below, you can assign font for headers and enter text. The text can be Multiline or HTML depending on position of the switch. The string variables P/N and P/W in the text will be replaced by  current page number and total number of pages (if the total number of pages is specified on the External PDF tab).

Below you can add horizontal lines on the footer borders and set their color.

For more complex design of headers and footers, you can use images or background PDF file.

 Images (3)

Up to 3 images in the formats * .bmp, * .jpg, * .gif, * .tif, * .png, * .wmf, * .emf can be placed on the report pages. Images will be repeated on all pages. On even and odd pages there may be different images.

In the boxes you can specify:  path to the image file, coordinates of the upper left corner of the image on pages, width and height of the image in % of width and height of the page.

The origin of the page is at the upper left corner.

 Multiline/HTML text(2)

Up to 2 blocks of text (up to 250 characters each) can be placed on the pages in addition to the text of the header and footer.  The text can be Multiline or HTML depending on position of the switch. The string variables P/N and P/W in the text will be replaced by  current page number and total number of pages (if the total number of pages is specified on the External PDF tab).

 Footer

If the Auto checkbox (on the Header panel) is checked, then position of text in the header and footer is selected automatically. Otherwise, you can set the position of text in the X and Y boxes. These coordinates are given in % of width and height of the page. The origin of the page is at the upper left corner.

In the boxes below, you can assign font for footer and enter text. The text can be Multiline or HTML depending on position of the switch. The string variables P/N and P/W in the text will be replaced by  current page number and total number of pages (if the total number of pages is specified on the External PDF tab).

If the checkbox Page numbers is checked, then the page number and total number of pages are printed (if the total number of pages is specified on the External PDF tab).

Fonts tab

The tab defines fonts for the report data. Fonts for headings have also a background color for painting a rectangle under the heading.
